Pastor
Darrell Morgan is a dynamic man of God. He operates in the prophetic
anointing and lets the Holy Spirit lead and guide him. His messages are
powerful, practical, and meaningful for our everyday walk and maturity in Christ. His life was changed dramatically on November 16, 1975. He
was attending a crusade in Atlanta, GA. While sitting in his seat the
power of God healed him. He ran to the altar and made Jesus Lord of his
life. II Corinthians 5:17 became real to Darrell at that time, having a
God who loved him enough to heal and save him in the midst of living a
drug cultured life and making him new again.
In 1978, he attended Rhema Bible Training Center, graduating two
years later. He then went to Orlando, FL and served as a youth pastor in
a local church. In June of 1988 Darrell attained his private pilots
license and began flying throughout the Caribbean holding crusades with
Joe Hurston. During one of the crusades, God spoke to Darrell and
directed him to Apopka, FL to pastor an existing church that was in need
of a shepherd.

Pastor Darrell is the senior pastor of Word of Life
Church. In addition to his duties there, God has opened up doors for him
to speak in other countries. He has been to India where, through the
power of God, he raised a man from the dead. He has ministered at a
pastors conference in Venezuela and that whole country has opened up
along with Colombia. God also gave Darrell the opportunity to go to the
Ukraine and Russia with one of T. L. Osborn's associates. While there,
his gift for teaching helped impart vital information to a hungry people
concerning prayer and living a holy life.
Word of Life is co-pastored by Darrell’s wife, Lisa,
who is the Worship Leader. Pastor Lisa moves and
flows in the spirit
allowing the Holy Spirit to lead the way to the throne room. She also is
used by God
as a psalmist. In addition, Lisa heads up the dynamic KICKS
Children’s Church, a place that gives
children the opportunity to
experience God genuinely for themselves while being taught sound
scriptural
doctrine.
Her
desire to touch young children became reality several years ago when
Camp Destiny held its first
week of camp. Under her leadership children
reached a new level in God. Through anointed praise,
worship and
ministry children are able to experience Him in a way that will shape
their lives in a positive
way, all in an atmosphere of fun and
fellowship.
Pastors Darrell and Lisa have three sons, Joshua,
Justin and Jordan, two married daughters, two
grandsons and two
granddaughters.
